Facebook continues updating and optimizing its features.
Not so much time has passed since the latest interesting Facebook proposals (the launch of the job search on Facebook). And recently Facebook developers have announced the latest update – the possibility to stream live video from laptops and desktop computers.
Until this update, people were able to use Facebook live video only on mobile devices.
An inbuilt webcam will help you to start live broadcast on Facebook. You can also install special software for streaming. This will improve the quality of your streaming.
The live video option is located right in the Facebook news feed. To start the broadcast, select “Create a post”, and choose “Start live” in the opened window.
Here’s how the feature looks on Facebook group page:
And here’s how you can find it at your personal account:
After the streaming starts, your followers can find it in their feeds.
The feature is also available for other social networks: Twitter, VKontakte, Instagram.
Have you already tried to broadcast your video on Facebook? Feel free to share your impressions in comments. And don’t forget that you can easily track and evaluate the effectiveness of your content that includes live video using KUKU.io analytics.
